Conxa Sisquella Planas studied at the Escola Superior de Belles Arts Sant Jordi and at the Conservatori de les Arts del Llibre in Barcelona, as well as engraving studies in Washington. She has been a prominent post-war artist who, together with her husband, created the Fornells-Pla Foundation in the town of La Garriga (Barcelona). His Artwork goes through existentialist figuration, abstraction, abstract expressionism and informalism. He has had numerous exhibitions at home and abroad.
