Michel Campistron is an artist... a painter, who only decided to exhibit his Artwork after twenty years in several exhibitions, in France but also abroad (Florence, Barcelona, Madrid). Always inclined to give meaning to his Artwork, his paintings, where fluidity and matter collide, evoke the wounds of time "the inevitable and the becoming". A certain roughness, the dark atmosphere that emanates from his creations, authorizes him to claim to belong to the Catalan school of Tapiés, Millarès, Valdés or a creative influence, such as Anselm Kiefer. Today, the material has taken a preponderant place and, always in search of new experiences, Michel Campistron advances towards the expression of a visual artist, rather than a painter.
