Night in Marrakesh. Screenprint signed and numbered in pencil by the artist. 58x45cm. Excellent Condition. Ovadia Alkara was born in Daliat El Carmel in 1939. He began painting at the age of 16 and immediately after being released from the army, he went to Europe and studied at the Ecole Del Beaux Arts in Paris. Alkara lives in Israel and New York and is a member of the Ein Hod Artists Village. Initially he alternated painting with work as a graphic artist, but during the seventies he abandoned this second activity. From then on he made his Artwork known, clearly affiliated with Impressionism. He died suddenly after being made a member of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, in Paris.
