Pepo Cantos: " Pareja de caballos" (1994) Pepo Cantos 1940-1998 Alicante. Artista pintor con trayectoria internacional. En los años 70 fijó su residencia en Montmatre,París Ha realizado exposiciónes individuales y obtenido premios, hay obra suya en distintos fondos museísticos públicos y privados. Artista vital de matiz expresionista, con una obra importante que trata diversos temas y técnicas, dejando su huella personal y su propio lenguaje plástico. Biografía extensa en la Guia Europea de Bellas Artes 97/98. " Pareja de Caballos" (1994) Autor Pepo Cantos, Óleo 55 x 46 cm Firmado por Pepo Cantos en el ángulo inferior derecho y en su parte posterior. Certificado de autenticidad por su viuda. La obra se encuentra en el estudio del pintor y no ha sido expuesta. El modo como el pintor abarca el tema muestra una excelente sensibilidad, los caballos están juntos, como un poco acurrucados, nos los presenta altivos y orgullosos de su idilio. El fondo hace gala de los tonos de la Provenza, haciendo un guiño a Cezanne y al cubismo que después desarrollo Picasso. Éste cuadro es apropiado para cualquier espacio, en especial la entrada o recibidor ( simulación en foto).
