Author: Salvador Juanpere (Vilaplana -Tarragona-, 1953). Title: Drawing. Description: Mixed media on paper made in 2007 by the Tarragona artist Salvador Juanpere. Measurements without frame 49x39 cm. Certificate of authenticity is attached. Artwork in good condition. Salvador Juanpere, graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona. Later a professor at the Escuela Massana, he later joined as a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. In 1997 he established his home and studio in Mira-sol -Sant Cugat-. He is an artist with a long career, close to conceptual trends. His drawings, sculptures or installations have a strong formal and poetic content and are a reflection on the creative process itself, the methodology of sculpture, and artistic crafts, all within a game of ironies and metalinguistic references. Known as one of the outstanding sculptors of the end of the 20th century within the panorama of Catalan art, he works with marble, wood, bronze, lead and iron and has held numerous exhibitions here and abroad. He has permanent work in different public spaces in different cities and countries.
