YOLANDA GARCÍA DELGADO "What makes you feel" (2010). Technique: Mixed (acrylic, collage, oil, wood, stone and epoxy resin). Description: Picture made up of fifteen pictures and a wooden sculpture, of which, in relief, 5 of them forming a relief sculpture plus the wood that tops it off. It can be arranged in different ways because they are separated, an essential requirement, the first in the composition must be the embryo and the last, the dissection of the brain along with wood and stone.
Conceptual description:
From birth we already feel, perceive, we are a group of cells and atoms that perceive the world, alone. with what is shown here, there is nothing else, sight, touch, sex, skin, lips...
we know, perceive and feel the world... after all that, stored in our brain, rests in a wooden box, which contains our bones and a stone on top that speaks something about our name and who we were.
