Alain Robin, Portraits(Nus) ou (Im)Pudeurs ! 2018-2023 (26)

Son of concrete, I feel at ease in the City, I explore it in all directions and continue to discover it. I mainly photograph neighborhoods where people like you and me live. The human being is always present in my photographs even if it is just a footprint, an abandoned object, a mark left on a wall, on a sidewalk... and also because, sometimes, it is his absence that best speaks of the place of man. in the city. I prefer black and white, more timeless, more essential. Their contrast allows us to rediscover the trivial, to shed light on the “unimportant”, what makes sense. By highlighting textures, contrasts and light, black and white bring attention back to what we no longer see out of habit. Finally, it allows us to escape from the anecdotal and the detail.
