ALCALDE. Torero con abanico. Año 2020. Óleo sobre lienzo. OPINIÓN CUALIFICADA SOBRE ÁNGEL ALCALDE Ángel Alcalde, tras pasar veinte años en la Universidad, como jefe del Gabinete del Rector, regresa ahora a lo que fue su punto de partida: la Pintura. Está hoy teñida por los olores y colores de las sierras del Valle de Alcudia, de las que goza como un cervatillo, y por el toro bravo y el arte del toreo, que para Ángel es un poderoso elemento de cultura y civilización mediterránea. La mujer es también un elemento fundamental en su obra.
