Author: Àlex de Fluvià (Barcelona, 1966-2015). Title: Fragment of Sandra. Description: Mixed media on canvas made in 1995 by the Barcelona artist Àlex de Fluvià. Measurements without frame 92x73 cm. Certificate of authenticity is attached. Artwork in good condition. Àlex de Fluvià graduated in Art History from the University of Barcelona, is a self-taught painter. His pictorial Artwork is halfway between a peculiar neopop with hints of denunciation and a gestural and material abstract expressionism. As a whole, he makes a dense and anecdotal Artwork with clear references to aesthetics that he revises by mixing concepts. In 1996 he goes to New York, Artworking between this city and Barcelona. Numerous exhibitions in different galleries in the country and also abroad and his Artwork is in different public and private collections.

A large-format Cubist composition featuring a grand piano, cello, violin, trumpet, French horn, and guitar, alongside scores by Beethoven and Chopin, on a checkered floor in white and gray. The artist breaks down the instruments into overlapping geometric planes of vibrant colors (ochres, golds, grays, and reds), in a pictorial homage to music and Synthetic Cubism.
