Autor: Alexander Calder ( Lawton, 1898 – New York, 1975). Título: Figura danzante de tres piernas (1975). Descripción: Litografía original, edición limitada. Derrier le miroir, Maeght editor, Les Ateliers de L’Imprimerie Arte, Adrien Maeght impresor, París. Medidas: Aprox: 38 x 28 cm. Obra en excelentes condiciones. Alexander Calder fue un escultor estadounidense. Hijo y nieto de escultores. Su madre era, además, pintora. En 1923 asistió a la Liga de Estudiantes de Arte de Los Ángeles, donde recibió la influencia de los artistas de la escuela. En 1925 contribuyó con unas ilustraciones en la National Police Gazette. En 1926 se trasladó a París y comenzó a crear figurillas de madera y alambre, germen del posterior desarrollo de sus famosas miniaturas circenses. En los años 1930, se hizo célebre en París y en los Estados Unidos por sus esculturas de alambre, al igual que por sus retratos, sus bosquejos de línea continua y sus abstractas construcciones motorizadas.

    Alberto Rafols-Casamada (Barcelona, 1923 – 2009), was a poet and painter. Rafols-Casamada began his studies in architecture but abandoned them to dedicate himself fully to the visual arts, thanks to the support of his father, Albert Ràfols i Cullerés. The painter was awarded the National Prize for Plastic Arts by the Ministry of Culture in 1980, the National Prize for Visual Arts of Catalonia in 2003 and was an honorary academic of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.
