ALEXANDER CALDER Philadelphia 1898-New York 1976 Kangaroo 1927 Articulated collectible toy made of painted wooden pieces, reproducing the original from 1927 Measures 52 x 52 x 16 cm Edited by Vilac in France with the authorization and collaboration of the Calder Foundation of New York 2003 These toys were originally designed by the artist in the 1920s and were reintroduced to the market by Vilac in 2003. The original publisher's label and box are attached, as well as the catalog of the auction house where it appears.

    Author: Antoni Munill i Puig (Barcelona, 1939 - 1977). Title: Portrait (1974). Description: watercolor on paper signed and dated 74 on the right margin. Measurements without frame 32x23 cm. Measurements with frame 46x33 cm. Artwork in good condition with signs of age. He trained in Barcelona, at Llotja (1952-57), and in Paris. Initially he alternated painting with work as a graphic artist, but during the seventies he abandoned this second activity. From then on he made his Artwork known, clearly affiliated with Impressionism. He died suddenly after being made a member of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, in Paris.
