Alexandre de Riquer (Calaf, 1856 - Palma, 1920), famous and expert modernist designer and poster artist. Poster for the "3rd. Exhibition of Fine Arts and Artistic Industries" (1896) of the Barcelona City Council. Color lithograph on paper, printed in France, Imprimerie Chaix, (Encres Lorilleux & Cie.) Les Maîtres de l’affiche collection, no. 64. Dimensions: 29 x 49 cm and signed by the author. There is a copy in the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, of the same size, and a larger one in the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. It has two light tears on the top edge and a small loss on the bottom edge.
