Alfredo Montaña (1945). "Musical Instruments." Technique: acrylic on canvas. Dimensions: 180 x 180 cm. Condition: excellent; the Artwork is like new. Hand-signed by the artist in the lower left corner. Includes frame. A large-format Cubist composition featuring a grand piano, cello, violin, trumpet, French horn, and guitar, alongside scores by Beethoven and Chopin, on a checkered floor in white and gray. The artist breaks down the instruments into overlapping geometric planes of vibrant colors (ochres, golds, grays, and reds), in a pictorial homage to music and Synthetic Cubism. A decorative piece of great presence and visual impact.
