Autor: Ángel Simarro (1944). Título: Góndolas al atardecer. Descripción: óleo sobre lienzo pegado a tablero firmado en el ángulo inferior derecho. Medidas sin marco 38x55 cm. Obra en buenas condiciones. La luz del atardecer en esta escena veneciana, se hace patente en toda la obra, la cual queda bañada en un cálido colorido dorado. El cielo nublado resuelto magníficamente, queda enriquecido con los juegos de colores de las nubes y los amarillos cálidos de un sol poniente. Las construcciones del fondo, así como el agua, quedan igualmente bañadas del color del atardecer, donde la verticalidad de la torre queda patente y destaca sobre el resto del paisaje y de las embarcaciones que complementan el último plano de la escena. Las distintas embarcaciones que aparecen en el primer y segundo plano, han sido resueltas con delicada soltura, donde puede apreciarse a los personajes en las diversas actividades que requiere su actividad. Excelente obra repleta de color, y magníficamente resuelta.
