Antonio Tordesillas is a prominent Spanish figurative painter, born in Madrid in 1960, with a solid and extensive career in realist art. Trained at the San Fernando Faculty of Fine Arts in Madrid, he completed his apprenticeship in specialized Artworkshops alongside leading figures such as Antonio López, consolidating a rigorous technical foundation and a profoundly analytical eye.
His Artwork focuses primarily on the human figure and landscape, approached with meticulous precision and a high degree of detail. Each of his compositions reveals a deep understanding of color, light, and harmony, elements he masterfully handles to construct scenes of great balance and sensitivity.
With an exhibition career that began in 1983 and has been recognized with numerous awards, including the National Prize for Visual Arts in Madrid, Tordesillas has developed his own unique language within contemporary realism. His experience also extends to the field of advertising as an art director and photographer, and he currently combines his artistic production with teaching drawing and painting, passing on his knowledge to new generations of artists.
