ARRAUT "PYRENEES LANDSCAPE" (1850) Pere Màrtir ARRAUT. (Puigcerdà, c. 1818 - Barcelona, ​​c. 1875). Oil on canvas, 120x100 cm. Artwork in good condition with signs of age. This is a river landscape, with certain variations, taken from the same location and in frontal perspective, as artists of this period usually work, executed in a descriptive line, rich in all kinds of details. The work of P. M. Arraut, an artist of the romantic orbit, originally from Puigcerdà, having worked abundantly, exhibited, often, in Barcelona, ​​(Association of Friends of the Fine Arts, 1848, 1855, 1859, Academy of Arts 1870, 1873, 1874), and left work everywhere, (in public collections, M. Diocesà, Barcelona; as private collections), at this time, unfortunately, is not as well known as that of other contemporary artists, such as P. Clavé, C. Lorenzat, F.
