Author: Ana Moledo Martinez Title: Landscape Year: 2021 Technique: Acrylic on cardboard Condition: very good, framed (glass frame) Inspired by the many landscapes of Galicia. Many times at the top of the road, at that precise point, as if it were a starting grid, I stare at the horizon, with an agoraphobic heart I let out my desire to discover other worlds, other people, other places full of that maelstrom in constant motion, creating in me a dissimilarity that is difficult to placate. In this disparity and contrast of emotions, I feel homesick for leaving the place where I was born. The bay of A Coruña, with its crystal sea. That light of dawn over the murmur of the rivers, those mountains of solitude that chase me from here to there, stepping on the flowers, the grass as I walk, I caress the bluebells and the roses of the rosebush, and the soft song of the leaves, the I whisper a lover who flies with the wind her "ayes", stealing an eternal sigh nestled in my chest, I exhale the sorrow for abandoning this beautiful natural garden that is my land, Ay..., whoever had wings, wings to fly... "miña terra queridiña" that already begs me so much, and I haven't left yet.
