Chameleon Amour, Cerritos 2020, sculpture 24x14x24 cm. Artwork in good condition. Sculptures from this collection are made in mixed techniques. They have strong galvanized wire net reinforcing which serves as a basic shape holder. The mixture made of several elements like wood chip, volcanic dust, and special binder acts as the body of the sculpture. Acrylic paint and matt or satin varnish seal it and bring the final look to these types of sculptures. CHAMELEON – AUSTRALIAN ARTIST Experimented with a variety of materials and techniques throughout his carrier. Outcomes range from highly figurative to totally abstract in his 2D art. Part of Chameleon Amours art is three-dimensional and mostly abstract.     Alberto Rafols-Casamada (Barcelona, 1923 – 2009), was a poet and painter. Rafols-Casamada began his studies in architecture but abandoned them to dedicate himself fully to the visual arts, thanks to the support of his father, Albert Ràfols i Cullerés. The painter was awarded the National Prize for Plastic Arts by the Ministry of Culture in 1980, the National Prize for Visual Arts of Catalonia in 2003 and was an honorary academic of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.
