DAVID BRUSH -1979-(Madrid). "NEW LIFEI" 2017 Técnica mixta sobre lienzo Firmado y fechado al frente Medidas: 162x130cm Obra de carácter abstracto y neo expresionista, en la cual el artista, presenta un lienzo cuya imagen es vibrante y dinámica. Mostrando a través de la composición un gran interés por las calidades que pueden ofrecer los materiales y por las texturas de los mismos. Una representación en la que el uso de los trazos depurados y una gran intensidad en el color utilizado, crean una atmósfera pictórica que apela al espectador y crea una narratividad emocional vinculante. De Formación autodidacta, David Brush comenzó en el mundo del arte a través de la inspiración de su hija. Su obra posee una gran influencia de artistas como Jackson Pollock (1912-1956), Karel Appel (1921-2006) , Willem de Kooning (1904 – 1997) y Kazuo Shiraga(1924-2008). Inaguró su primera exposición individual “Feria de Colores”, en abril de 2018 en Boadilla del Monte, Madrid. Ese mismo año fue garlardonado con el Premio Revelación, entregado por el Grupo Pro Arte y Cultura, TRAYECTORIA ARTISTICA RECONOCIMIENTOS: Premio Artista Revelación entregado en Enero de 2019, por GRUPO PROARTE Y CULTURA (Maite Espinola) EXPOSICIONES MAS RECIENTES: Exposición individual Boadilla del monte en abril de 2019. Exposición individual en Cielo de Urrechu (pozuelo de Alarcón) en septiembre de 2019. Exposición Colectiva en la Galería SANTANA ART GALERY junto artistas como FRANCISCO DE GOYA, JOAQUIN SOROLLA, WIFREDO LAM, PEDRO SANDOVAL, PALOMO LINARES, JUAN DE AREVALOS, JUAN GENOVES Entre otros artistas del siglo XXI, en septiembre de 2019.     Alberto Rafols-Casamada (Barcelona, 1923 – 2009), was a poet and painter. Rafols-Casamada began his studies in architecture but abandoned them to dedicate himself fully to the visual arts, thanks to the support of his father, Albert Ràfols i Cullerés. The painter was awarded the National Prize for Plastic Arts by the Ministry of Culture in 1980, the National Prize for Visual Arts of Catalonia in 2003 and was an honorary academic of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.
