On high quality 300g semi-gloss coated paper, this Artwork is one of the posters (lithographic at the time), from the significant moment in which the Maeght gallery (founded in Cannes in 1936, and also established in Paris in 1946, It opened its headquarters in Barcelona in 1974 (1974 – 2012). The relevant role of the Maeght Foundation in the history of modern and contemporary art is undeniable, as a gallery, dissemination and publisher. This Artwork is a high quality reprography, published by Carteles de Coleccionista, of one of the posters published at the time for the inauguration, with the accreditation printed at the bottom: “Reproduction of the original lithographic poster by Eduardo Chillida, published on the occasion of the group exhibition, which opened the Maeght gallery in Barcelona on November 15, 1974”, with a historic group exhibition, mostly of Spanish and French artists. Measurements without frame: 40 x 30 cm, in excellent condition.
