« ..I am a sculptor, painter, photographer, engraver, ceramist, fundamentally a draftsman....I do not conceive plastic activity without drawing, without the conception of the idea in drawing. I have always felt the need to express myself by drawing: comics, illustrations, portraits, landscapes... everything... I remember drawing at school, imagining scenes and situations in front of a piece of paper. Flash Gordon, spaceship wars, explosions; caricatures, etc...They are my first memories of an activity that has been, that has become what I have always sought, the one that has conditioned my life, art. I think I have always lived based on artistic Artwork; Painting, drawing, photography, sculpting, everything has been the product of great curiosity...I was satisfied to look for other paths that always and inevitably led me to other techniques...With them I expanded my knowledge about plastic arts, although I have always I knew how to detach myself from the demands of technique, which would collapse my desires or my creativity. My Artwork is the product of an experience of many years, above all of intensity, of desire to live the knowledge of art...For this I have not deprived myself of anything, I have studied, I have meditated and I have written about art... At the same time I have carried out artistic practice at the same time. Many exhibitions in Spain and Italy, where I stayed for four years, studying and Artworking...I am used to creating series of Artworks that respond to a certain idea, a material or a concept...Here is part of that life, specific examples of a job that has often been the development of a dream, the giving meaning to a passion. The art... " Eduardo Lastres, born in 1946, lives and Artworks in Alicante (Spain) > The Certificate of Authenticity is signed by the Artist. The Drawing is signed and dated by the artist.
