Author: Enric Pladevall (Vic, 1951). Title: Tower. Description: copper, wood and lead made in 1992 by the artist Enric Pladevall. Measures 31x25x25 cm. Approximate weight 5 Kg. Certificate of authenticity is attached. Work in good condition. Enric Pladevall studied at the Municipal School of Vic and the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona. He is one of the outstanding sculptors of the 20th century. Wood and iron are the predominant materials in his works, both in assembly and in contrast. Various techniques to create abstract works with clear allusions to themes such as eroticism, space, humour, air... He was directly influenced by sculptors such as Brancusi, Giacometti, Duchamp or Fontana, as well as the first abstract artists. His work can be found in museums and foundations in Europe and the United States and in numerous national and foreign public spaces.
