FALCÓ PUJOL, Joaquim (Manresa, Barcelona, 1958). “Lute and cup”, 2004. Mixed media on canvas. Signed and dated in the lower left corner. Signed, dated and titled on the back. Measurements: 55 x 65 cm. Falcó trained at the Estanislao Vilajosana academy and at the Manresa Artistic Circle. He made his solo debut in 1979, and in 1989 he held his first exhibition in Italy, a country where he would spend seasons painting. Falcó has held more than eighty solo exhibitions in Spain, France, Italy, the United States, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, among other countries, and in 2003 he was invited to the Osaka International Fair as a guest artist.
