Artist: Gabriel Sánchez Alenda (1941-2016) Title: "Homenaje al suspiro" (1976) Year: 1976 Technique: Oil on canvas Measurements: 81x65 cms. Gabriel Sánchez Alenda studied fine arts at the San Carlos faculty in Valencia and at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid. He worked as a drawing teacher and professor of fine arts in various educational centers in Madrid, Toledo and Cuenca. In addition to being a painter, he carried out very important work as a muralist, both in Spain and in other European countries. He was a painter of relevance in what was called "La movida madrileña" alongside other creators such as Pedro Almodovar, Ceesepe, Ouka Leele etc.
