The issue of 'Derrière le miroir' was published with texts by the writer, translator, journalist, essayist and art critic Georges Charbonnier (1913 -1990). On the back is the first part of one of the included texts; The second and last part of this text, signed G. C., is included in an offset reproduction (not original).
Braque, with the influence of Paul Cézanne and other artists, is, along with Picasso (with whom he had a close relationship) and later Juan Gris, one of the three greatest exponents of Cubism, a movement considered the first in the field of abstraction. He became friends with both artists, also with Francis Picabia, Henri Matisse. His Artwork continued to stand out.
