Iban Navarro (Barcelona, 1982) is a prominent figurative painter and watercolorist who has developed his artistic language from a young age under the influence of his father, the painter Jesús Navarro. Trained in his father's studio, he acquired a solid technical foundation that allowed him to explore various disciplines, ultimately settling on watercolor as his primary medium.
His mastery of this technique is remarkable, achieving great precision, chromatic richness, and a special sensitivity in the treatment of light. He often combines watercolor with other materials such as acrylic or oil pastel, thus expanding his expressive possibilities without losing the characteristic freshness of his Artwork.
His most recurring themes revolve around seascapes, boats in small ports, and figures at rest by the sea, where he captures atmospheres charged with calm and emotion. His excellent drawing skills, also influenced by his training at the Joso School of Comics, translate into a firm and elegant line that structures his compositions.
Since beginning her career in 2002, she has participated in numerous exhibitions, establishing a trajectory marked by consistency and public acclaim.
