Autor: Joan Miró. Título: Esculturas - Gran Bretaña - 1974. Descripción: El 30 de octubre de 2012 falleció en París el poeta, biógrafo y ensayista de arte Jacques Dupin (1927 – 2012), autor de profundas obras sobre grandes artistas, entre las que destacan sus estudios sobre Miró y el extenso catálogo razonado de su obra. Una de estas notables obras, titulada Miró escultor, fue publicada en 1974 por La Polígrafa para siete países en sus respectivas lenguas (japonés, sueco, persa, italiano, danés, inglés y portugués). Cada edición iba acompañada de una litografía original en 125 ejemplares, dedicada a cada uno de los siete países. Para facilitar la aproximación a su obra en condiciones económicas más favorables, accedió Miró a realizar además una tirada especial de 1500 ejemplares de cada litografía, con su firma estampada sobre la plancha. Está litografía original forma parte de esta tirada sobre papel Guarro Vellum, está firmada en plancha y mide 20 x 40 cm, la editó La Polígrafa S.A y todas las litografías fueron vendidas. Está en el catálogo razonado de Miró Maeght 940, Cramer 225, esta en perfectas condiciones.
