Author: Joan Miró (1893-1983). Title: Umbracle. Description: Description: Lithography on Guarro paper with watermark from the Gaspar Room and signed in pencil by the artist. Exemplary P.A. (Artist's proof). This copy belongs to the "avant la lettre" circulation, the publisher being Sala Gaspar (Barcelona), and the printer Puresa (Barcelona). The film "Umbracle" was directed by Pere Portabella, starring Christofer Lée and Janine Mestres. The script was written by the filmmaker Pere Portabella and the poet Joan Brossa. For the occasion, 500 posters were printed on plain paper measuring 78x6 cm, and 50 copies like the one offered here (on Guarro paper and with watermark from the Gaspar Room) measuring 74.5x56 cm, signed and justified out of 50. Artwork in good condition with signs of age.

He is one of the most representative sculptors of our country, who has also had an outstanding role as a painter. Its innovative nature means that at no time does it stop looking for new languages and new expressions. His sculptural Artworks stand out for being a game of planes and geometries, where matter plays an important role and where color often intervenes. In his pieces, of small and large format, certain reminiscences of an architectural type can be appreciated, as far as the creation of spaces is concerned. It creates an intimate and private link between its structures and geometries and the viewer. His Artworks are distributed by numerous museums around the world and there are many individual exhibitions, held nationally and internationally.
Author: Domènec Fita (Girona, 1927). Title: Bruna (1988). Description: Epoxy resin without plate. Certificate of authenticity is attached. Measures 70x90 cm. Artwork in good condition. Domènec Fita i Molat has a degree in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Barcelona. It began in religious sculpture. In 1947 he was part of the Grup Flama. His creations stand out for the great heterogeny in the use of techniques and materials, his innovative spirit being constant. Fita is one of the names of Catalan contemporary art, difficult to describe due to the diversity and plurality of its creations. He is a born researcher who has made a long creative journey from figuration to abstraction. He has religious Artwork in many churches and temples and also in prominent public places in different cities. He has held numerous exhibitions and his Artwork can be seen in leading public and private museums. In the city of Girona he has the Domènec Fita Foundation, which covers a large part of his career.
