Dimensions without frame: 74 x 103 cm. ArtArtwork in good condition with signs of age. Josep Canals Gual (Sant Cugat del Vallés, 1947) graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona. From the beginning, he was actively involved in promoting and revitalizing the cultural world. He Artworked as an art educator. From the 1980s onwards, he dedicated himself exclusively to gallery ownership and cultural promotion, notably creating and directing the Biennial of Catalan Contemporary Art. Among other distinctions, he holds the Medal of Cultural Merit from the city of Sant Cugat and is a member of the Royal Catalan Academy of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi. His Artworks are in various museums and public and private institutions, and he has held numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout the country.
