JOSEP GUINOVART BERTRAN (Barcelona, 1927 – 2007). Sin título, 1983. Litografía, ejemplar 217/500. Firmada, fechada y justificada a lápiz en la zona inferior central. Medidas: 30 x 41,5 cm; 49,5 x 58,5 cm (marco). Josep Guinovart se formó entre Barcelona y París, y participó en las Bienales de São Paulo, Alejandría y Venecia. Formó parte del grupo de vanguardia Taüll, y entre sus premios destacan el Ciudad de Barcelona, el Nacional de Artes Plásticas y el de Artes Plásticas de la Generalitat. En 1994 se inauguró en Agramunt, Lérida, el Espacio Guinovart, fundación privada que cuenta con una exposición permanente del artista. Está representado en los Museos de Arte Contemporáneo de Barcelona, Madrid y México D.F., el Reina Sofía, el de Bellas Artes de Bilbao, la Casa de las Américas en La Habana y el de Bellas Artes de Long Island, Nueva York, entre muchos otros.

Studied at the Tarragona School of Art, the Sant Jordi School of Fine Arts, and printmaking at the Massana School in Barcelona. His teachers were the painters Magda Folch and Guillem Bergnes. Collaborated with the Gran Teatre del Liceu. Lived in Sitges from 1969 to 1983. Drawings for the magazine Escrivim a les parets – Revista de les Arts (Balaguer), the weekly L’Eco de Sitges, El Món (Barcelona), and Bonart magazine (2003). Experimented in the field of music, accompanied by pianist Charles Miles. Since 2003 he has collaborated with articles in Bonart, Diari Avui, Nou Diari, Revista del Center de Lectura de Reus, Diari de Tarragona, El Punt, Caldodecultivo (Tarragona), Més Tarragona, Entitats, the visual poetry magazine Veneno (Córdova), Letras Travestidas (Uruguay).
