Artwork in good condition. Josep Royo is a contemporary Catalan painter specialized in tapestries. He trained at the Sant Cugat del Vallés School of Drawing and studied Painting at the Massana School in Barcelona. Starting in 1959, Josep Royo began to work with tapestries and his work with textile material achieved international recognition. He wove the cartoons of important artists of the time such as Antoni Tàpies or Joan Miró. The Catalan painter Josep Royo has exhibited all over the world and is famous beyond his collaborations with other artists.
