Josep Serra Llimona, Study, signed and numbered lithograph The painter Josep Serra Llimona was born in L'Ametlla del Vallès in 1937 and died on November 25, 2020, at the age of 83. A descendant of the Limones family, after studying law he turned to his artistic calling and trained in the studio of Ramon Rogent and at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris, with the painter Jacques Busse. In 1961 he was awarded the first prize for young painters at the Sala Parés gallery in Barcelona.
