Global Warning is much more than a photograph: it's an artistic thermometer of climate change. In this self-portrait, the artist appears surrounded by an apocalyptic landscape, crowned by leaves hand-painted with thermal paint. This pigment reacts to rising temperatures: the green disappears, revealing a dry brown. When the green no longer returns... we'll know it's too late. Lídia Vives creates a visually powerful and deeply conceptual Artwork, in which beauty and denunciation coexist in the same scene. This unique piece is printed on Hahnemühle Bamboo Natural Line eco-friendly paper and framed with anti-reflective gallery glass and a gold frame.     Alberto Rafols-Casamada (Barcelona, 1923 – 2009), was a poet and painter. Rafols-Casamada began his studies in architecture but abandoned them to dedicate himself fully to the visual arts, thanks to the support of his father, Albert Ràfols i Cullerés. The painter was awarded the National Prize for Plastic Arts by the Ministry of Culture in 1980, the National Prize for Visual Arts of Catalonia in 2003 and was an honorary academic of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.
