In French, “femme coupée” means “the cut-up woman” or “fragmented woman.” However, in this photograph, we don't see a woman, but a doll and her story. This doll has lived a life of madness: dancing, playing, and partying so much that she has lost part of her body in the chaos. The vibrant colors, the glittering confetti, and her serene expression create a haunting contrast, as if capturing the exact moment where fantasy and reality collide. The image explores the tension between fragility and excess, the idea of losing oneself in pleasure until breaking, transforming into a character within her own surreal tale.
