Author: Mª Assumpció Raventós (Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, 1930). Title: Untitled. Description: artist's book on paper made in 2000 by the artist Mª Assumpció Raventós. Measures 23x17 cm. Certificate of authenticity is attached. Artwork in good condition. Mª Assumpció Raventós Torras studies at the Sant Jordi School of Fine Arts in Barcelona, at the Friedllander engraving Artworkshop in Paris and at the Book Arts Conservatory. For his artistic merits, in 1991 the Generalitat de Catalunya awarded him the Creu de Sant Jordi, the highest distinction awarded by the Catalan government. He is a member of the Real Academia Catalana de Bellas Astes Sant Jordi. She belongs to the group of artists who have been pioneers in tapestry techniques, at a state level, and is one of the artists who, during the 1970s, became involved in the world of tapestry that emerged at the Sant Cugat Catalan School of Tapestry. From figurative beginnings with cubist and expressionist influences, his Artwork has evolved towards an informalism of austere but delicate harmonies, with great sensitivity for the qualities of the materials and the effects of the textures. She is a multidisciplinary artist who has known how to express herself in all the languages at hand.
