Malagueño (Julio Rojas M.) "Pre-Columbian footprints" (2022) Original and unique Artwork. Acrylic paint and spray on canvas. 100 x 81cm This Artwork contains some of the most recognizable pre-Columbian symbols of the original peoples of America. With them, the American peoples expressed their relationship with the Earth, other living beings and the Universe. Malagueño (Julio Rojas Malagueño) is my artistic signature. I was born in Chile, a beautiful and long corner of the world. And although my residence is Madrid (Spain) I constantly use American references in my artistic Artwork. This Artwork is delivered without a frame but perfectly protected, signed by hand and with its corresponding Certificate of Authenticity. This Artwork contains some of the most recognizable pre-Columbian symbols of the original peoples of America. A large-format Cubist composition featuring a grand piano, cello, violin, trumpet, French horn, and guitar, alongside scores by Beethoven and Chopin, on a checkered floor in white and gray. The artist breaks down the instruments into overlapping geometric planes of vibrant colors (ochres, golds, grays, and reds), in a pictorial homage to music and Synthetic Cubism.
