Si algún lugar se ha ganado la capitalidad de esta bebida que tanto emociona es, sin duda, Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, el corazón de esta zona vinícola catalana de larga tradición. Un lugar de paso obligado en nuestra ruta del Cava y el lugar donde se concentran algunas de las bodegas más históricas. El paisaje, a medio camino entre el Mediterráneo y las imponentes rocas de la montaña mágica de Montserrat, confieren al Penedés un carácter singular que lo convierte en uno de los destinos turísticos más interesantes de Cataluña y del resto de España. La animada vida cultural, con múltiples festivales y actividades vinculadas al calendario de la viña, contribuyen a hacer de la visita un momento único, sea cual sea la fecha escogida.

    Alberto Rafols-Casamada (Barcelona, 1923 – 2009), was a poet and painter. Rafols-Casamada began his studies in architecture but abandoned them to dedicate himself fully to the visual arts, thanks to the support of his father, Albert Ràfols i Cullerés. The painter was awarded the National Prize for Plastic Arts by the Ministry of Culture in 1980, the National Prize for Visual Arts of Catalonia in 2003 and was an honorary academic of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.
