Mr. and Mrs. Gorgô, Bénédicte Devillers and Michel Gouteux, paint. Every thing, every sign, this or that mythology, become its pretexts; These are immediately suggested or converted into lines, colors, expressions, in an expressive “surrealism.” Some will pass by his Artwork without wanting to look, without understanding this extraordinary grammar. Others will want to “read” absolutely, to finally admit to themselves that this expression carries the moments and symbols it suggests. Anyway, nothing is naive; everything seems cultivated. His Artworks are, without a doubt, a self-image, which is sometimes disturbed, often penetrates our mind and is instilled in our body. To this Artwork, not only the mind reacts, but our body can also act... ...Mirror, my beautiful mirror, my story, "my lives", are they so inseparable from what you suggest to me?!... ...The outside and the inside,...what we are...That's how it is. Bénédicte Devillers and Michel Gouteux, lived in Le Havre (France). Mr. et Mme Gorgô: Natures (2018) - Oil on Canvas - 2018 - With certificate of authenticity.
