Threshold of Presence Series: Thresholds 100x73 Muz-Martínez In Threshold of Presence, Muz-Martínez places us in that suspended instant between the visible and the intangible, where the figure seems to emerge and dissolve simultaneously. The Artwork is constructed from a constant tension between matter and emptiness, between gesture and silence. The face, barely suggested, does not seek to define itself but rather to be implied, as if it belonged to a liminal space where identity has not yet fully revealed itself. The layers of color, applied with a restrained yet firm gestural style, generate an emotional depth that transcends the purely formal. The composition breathes through subtle contrasts and glazes that invite the viewer to approach, to complete the image from their own perception.
