  • Muz-Martínez: "Threshold of Presence" - Series: Thresholds" (2026)

Threshold of Presence Series: Thresholds 100x73 Muz-Martínez In Threshold of Presence, Muz-Martínez places us in that suspended instant between the visible and the intangible, where the figure seems to emerge and dissolve simultaneously. The Artwork is constructed from a constant tension between matter and emptiness, between gesture and silence. The face, barely suggested, does not seek to define itself but rather to be implied, as if it belonged to a liminal space where identity has not yet fully revealed itself. The layers of color, applied with a restrained yet firm gestural style, generate an emotional depth that transcends the purely formal. The composition breathes through subtle contrasts and glazes that invite the viewer to approach, to complete the image from their own perception. There is no closed narrative, but an open experience: a journey towards the essential. This Artwork is part of the Thresholds series, where the artist investigates the limits between the figurative and the abstract, proposing spaces for reflection in which presence is not affirmed, but rather intuited.

  • Javier Arizabalo "Guillermo" (2026)

Javier Arizabalo, born in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, April 1965. The Artwork is an oil painting on polyester. Titled "Guillermo," it measures 73 x 60 cm (height x width) and is in perfect condition. In this Artwork, Javier Arizabalo constructs an image of profound emotional and spiritual intensity, where the human figure emerges from the darkness enveloped in an atmosphere of silence and contemplation. The scene, illuminated only by the faint flame of a candle, evokes the tradition of Baroque chiaroscuro and the great Spanish classical painting, establishing a dialogue between contemporary realism and timeless spirituality. The upward gaze of the figure, full of introspection and contemplation, transforms the composition into a reflection on human fragility, faith, the passage of time, and the inner search. Light acts as a symbolic and structural element, modeling the face and hands with extraordinary technical sensitivity, while the red garments add drama and a powerful emotional charge. In this Artwork, Arizabalo demonstrates an outstanding mastery of anatomy, textures, and lighting, achieving a painting of great narrative power and remarkable technical virtuosity. The result is an image that transcends physical representation to inhabit a profoundly human and universal realm, where emotion and painting merge into a single language. A Artwork of great visual intensity and technical refinement that confirms the artist's ability to renew the realist tradition from a contemporary and deeply poetic perspective. Signed lower right

  • Javier Arizabalo "Suspension" (2026)

ArtArtwork by Javier Arizabalo, born in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, April 1965. The Artwork, titled "Suspension," is an oil on canvas measuring 114 x 146 cm (height x width), created in 2026. The artArtwork is in perfect condition. The Artwork is hand-signed. In "Suspension," Javier Arizabalo creates an image of powerful poetic charge where reality and reverie converge in a delicate visual balance. The female figure, suspended above the shore and enveloped by the light of the setting sun, seems to defy gravity to inhabit an intimate space between the physical and the spiritual. The composition conveys a profound sense of silence, freedom, and contemplation. The floating body, captured with extraordinary anatomical subtlety, becomes a symbol of liberation, introspection, and transcendence, while the seascape and reflections on the wet sand contribute an almost unreal atmosphere of serenity. Light plays an essential role in the Artwork. The warm tones of the horizon contrast with the immensity of the sky and envelop the scene in a soft, cinematic luminosity that intensifies the emotional dimension of the image. Arizabalo demonstrates remarkable technical mastery in the treatment of transparencies, textures, and reflections, achieving a painting of great virtuosity and contemporary sensitivity. Beyond figurative representation, the Artwork proposes a reflection on human fragility, the desire to rise above reality, and the search for a state of inner peace.
