Contained Darkness is a monochrome Artwork with a dense and magnetic atmosphere. The composition is organized into three visual layers: a textured black base, like a burnt or mineral surface; a nebulous center that evokes a sense of emptiness or suspension; and a smooth, barely illuminated top layer, where a faint glow emerges from reflections, like an echo of life or energy in the shadows. This piece conveys emotional restraint, inner depth, and a latent energy that moves beneath the surface. Ideal for elegant, minimalist, or introspective spaces, the Artwork invites silence and deep contemplation. • Painted on cotton canvas for later mounting on a stretcher frame. The photos are a simulation of how the Artwork will look on a stretcher frame and, if applicable, framed. • Please always keep in mind that there may be variations in tones and shadows depending on the light under which the Artwork is viewed, due to the protective varnish applied. The Artwork features several black shades that degrade to dark grays, but the Artwork itself is black. This is very important. • Finished with a protective varnish. • Hand-signed and with a certificate. Dimensions: 128 x 102 cm.
