Spectacular sculpture by Galician artist Pepa Mariño as a tribute to Galician writers. This Artwork is made of wood, paper, and metal in a methacrylate container, allowing for perfect display. This Artwork was created around 2010 and exhibited at the gallery in O Grove, where I acquired it. Signed with the artist's monogram, also represented on the accompanying card. Pepa Mariño She has a degree in Law. Self-taught, she has completed several courses related to painting and the use of recycled materials, sculpture, painting, tapestry, and installation Artwork. She is listed in the Galician Artists' Guide, is secretary of the Galician Association of Art and Culture (AGAEC), and head of the Visual Arts Section. Artworks Executed She has held solo exhibitions at the Banco Central Hispano Gallery, the Ricky Gallery, and the Ktor Gallery in Santiago de Compostela. She has a permanent exhibition in her Artworkshop and her group exhibitions include: 'Women of the world', Sala Alba, Santiago de Compostela (A Coruña); Fontiñas Room, Santiago de Compostela (A Coruña); Aurelio Aguirre Room, Santiago de Compostela (A Coruña); ‘Lembrando a Dalí’, Araguaney Foundation, Santiago (A Coruña); Artisans Protective Union Hall, Santiago de Compostela (A Coruña); ‘Ekéctika Nadal’ Artsil Gallery, Ames (A Coruña); ‘Encontros no pazo de Adrán’, Teo (A Coruña); 'Chromatic Polymorphies' Itinerant collective, Sala Gran Hotel (Santiago), Sala Gran Hotel (Lugo) and Sala Ateneo (Ourense) and House of Culture in Porto do Son, Pontedeume and Pobra do Caramiñal (A Coruña). Other interesting information She was selected for the following group exhibitions: AGAEC, Araguaney Foundation Hall (Santiago); Casino Atlántico Exhibition Hall (A Coruña); Casino Exhibition Hall (A Toxa); "Galician Artists in the European Parliament" (Brussels); and Galician Public Employees at the Casa de Galicia in Madrid. She participated in the creation of the mural donated to the Araguaney Foundation to benefit the Palestinian people. A selection of her sculptures is included in the "Mythology" catalog of the Las Adormideras Secondary School (A Coruña). Her Artworks are in private collections and in public and private institutions.
