Moments of dreams, pain, joy...all of them always in the same space: a support and my Artworkshop. As a diary, all those inner feelings come to the surface through color and shapes so they can be observed through the eyes.
Painting is a necessity, it is linked to the life of each artist and is a continuous dialogue between the Artwork and the painter. The canvas is the artist's diary, where he tells or expresses his emotions and feelings, where he can transpose any idea, no matter how abstract, such as a sound or a poem, without the need to have a reference of a real image. This language of abstract painting does not pretend to be beautiful or decorative, it wants to go beyond the descriptive and the obvious, it aims to reach the interior of things, it aims to be the lexicon of a new language. It has to be capable of transmitting sensations and emoting, of being a whole that unites life and art.
«...The use of gesture that interests me is that which is linked to abstraction, automatism and, more specifically, abstract expressionism.
I try to move the viewer through the expression of gesture and color. I am not trying to describe what I see but rather to express what I feel through these observations. Thus, I assume the keys to a non-descriptive language in which our perceptions and emotions come into play and through which I try to find visual equivalents for intangible and personal things, emotions, sensations and thoughts. It is, through this gestural painting, where my inner life comes out and, as a result, I express my personal vision of the world... »
