Oil painting by the artist Ponç Granollers, acquired from the artist at the Salou Yacht Club exhibition in 1994. Small 22x15 oil painting depicting the port of Ametlla de Mar with its docked boats. Ponç Granollers Tolsanas (Llançà, 1932 – Reus, 2015) was a Spanish painter born in Llançà, in the Alt Empordà region. He settled in Reus in 1960, where he lived until his death in 2015. His Artwork is characterized by the depiction of landscapes and local scenes, especially those of Baix Camp and the Costa Daurada. He Artworked in both oil and watercolor, and his style lies somewhere between Impressionism and Neo-Impressionism. Some of his Artworks include "Marina." His artistic legacy has been valued at various auctions and in private collections. Ponç Granollers left a significant mark on the art scene in Reus and its surroundings, being remembered for his contributions to local art and his depiction of Catalan landscapes.
