Autor: Rafael Cuartielles. Título: Picasso y la Luna (2011). Descripción: Óleo sobre lienzo, firmado en la parte inferior derecha.Medidas sin marco: 65x54 cm. En buen estado de conservación. Rafael Cuartielles, Barcelona 1932. "A la edad de 12 años se inicia en el mundo de la pintura instruido por Jacinto Oliver y otros artistas de la época. Posteriormente ingresa para estudiar pintura en la Acadèmia Baixas, una de las instituciones barcelonesas más importantes de la postguerra. Más tarde ingresa en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Barcelona (La Llotja). En 1962 obtiene una beca de la Diputación de Barcelona para completar sus estudios artísticos en París. Allí se mueve por los entornos más vanguardistas de la época...".

A large-format Cubist composition featuring a grand piano, cello, violin, trumpet, French horn, and guitar, alongside scores by Beethoven and Chopin, on a checkered floor in white and gray. The artist breaks down the instruments into overlapping geometric planes of vibrant colors (ochres, golds, grays, and reds), in a pictorial homage to music and Synthetic Cubism.
