    Jorge “Coco” González Lohse: Los Amantes (1994), frame support, Mixed media, 160 x 110, on canvas, excellent condition. Artwork description The Artwork The Lovers was part of the two-person exhibition “De Back Pica el Indio”, together with the artist Alejandro Quiroga (Galería Arte Actual, 1994). That same year the Artwork was part of the Chilean submission to the IV Cuenca-Ecuador Painting Biennial. In this piece it is possible to notice the plastic interests that appeared strongly in the 90s, particularly the tension between the thinking linked to new figuration and the trans-avant-garde. In a composition that contains painting, collage, graphics and textures, the Artwork reveals the pulse of the immediate and the desire to communicate a moment.
