He does not systematically denounce the absurd; wishes to warn against invading universes. “...My Artwork tries to glorify imaginary banality through some fictional events; a type of vivid and partial perception that superimposes the common, the strange and the absurd... ...Each of the illustrated elements represents the fragment of an unexpressed past that extends beyond the frame of the image. All the scenes are not directly related to each other but have a common spirit... During your studies, these visualizations interfere with each other.     Alberto Rafols-Casamada (Barcelona, 1923 – 2009), was a poet and painter. Rafols-Casamada began his studies in architecture but abandoned them to dedicate himself fully to the visual arts, thanks to the support of his father, Albert Ràfols i Cullerés. The painter was awarded the National Prize for Plastic Arts by the Ministry of Culture in 1980, the National Prize for Visual Arts of Catalonia in 2003 and was an honorary academic of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.
