“...The circumstances of an expression, its essence, my desires, my will, must be free to be able to express my commitments. Without a doubt this is the obvious and most difficult limitation..." The artist Titos Kontou lives with the materials, colors and some expressions that are our lives, what we are; perhaps, without a doubt, what we should be. His words, his grammar are true, unambiguous. Finally, we see this material, never still in his painting, in his paintings; without shame or modesty for these sculptures...and there, you have to see the strength of this artist, his values, his humility,...his will! Born in Athens in 1980, French-Greek, Titos Kontou lives and works in Toulouse (France). Titos Kontou, "Entrelacés" - Oil on CANVAS (Châssis) - 2017 - 100x60x2 cm. Certificate of authenticity.
