Autor: Xavi Millán (El Vendrell, 1966). Título: El Procés. Carles Puigdemon. Descripción: acrílico sobre tela. Medidas sin marco 100x100 cm. Obra en buenas condiciones. "El Procés", es una pintura acrílica fotorealista con connotación surrealista. La obra es una parodia sobre los momentos que estamos viviendo en Cataluña, en ningún momento pretende molestar a nadie, aunque es posible no dejar indiferente al observador. Bien podía ser una crítica más sobre el Procés en Cataluña. El Arte también puede ser un instrumento de crítica política, pero es más el fondo que la forma. Este cuadro ha sido consecuencia del concurso de pintura Josep Maria Vidal de Barcelona, como anécdota el artista leyó en las bases "decidir" en vez de "decir", pero pensó que para decir hay que decidir, de ahí el motivo de la obra, escuchamos muchas cosas al día que el tiempo silencia, en este caso el artista quiere hacer referencia a que también te pueden acallar de una o de otra forma, que es lo más habitual. El artista pretende hacer una similitud entre lo que vemos y lo que vivimos cada uno, es una reflexión sobre nuestras propias limitaciones. Quizás hay que pensar antes de decir para no tener que callar ... Ha querido adoptar a un personaje bastante relevante y actual que le sirve para representar el lema del concurso. En este caso el Estado español (la cremallera) a acallado al protagonista. Hay que observar inscripciones de Arte 155 y Made in Spain ... puede parecer una imagen de represión o protesta por unos y de victoria por otros .. . Se pretende dar un mensaje de ambigüedad sin posicionarse en ningún lado, de esta manera quiere abrir la puerta a la interpretación de cada uno ... hay que tener en cuenta que la cremallera puede abrirse siempre, no ha utilizado otra formula. También hay que buscar la sonrisa, es un acto que podemos hacer callados.
