    Josep Maria Subirachs i Sitjar (Barcelona 1927-2014) has been one of the most internationally renowned contemporary sculptors, as evidenced by his numerous awards and recognitions, as well as the presence of his Artwork in numerous museums and public spaces in cities around the world, primarily Barcelona. He has also participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions in public and private museums and galleries. Since 2017, he has had a museum dedicated to his Artwork in Barcelona, the Espai Subirachs.
